I know that you can use the 'blink' command to get blinking text in Netscape, but is there a way to get it in Internet Explorer?

I don't know if IE5.5 supports this. IE5 doesn't. But in theory you can do it with CSS.
I say this mainly to be cool. :cool:
p.ugly { text-decoration: blink }

Don't fight. The only cross browser way to do it is to make it an animated GIF. So there.
WWG, if the important thing is it moves, make it both BLINK and MARQUEE. At least you get Netscape and IE. Throw in the CSS ad you get a few more. Finish off with some JavaScript. :p

You could definately do it with CSS, however, I strongly recommend against using it! :)

Perhaps I should clarify that. I strongly suggest against making things blink in general :)
It's annoying, and the point can usually be made by bolding the text or changing the color.

Of course it does. Just make it an EM too. That goes without saying. :D
