The layout is very very plain, not much to it at all. Its not very pleasing to the eye either. Some of the bg colours are rather bright (the red). Some things you might want to take into consideration perhaps next time are:
1. Have the links in a more accessable area, so that people dont have to scroll down to find them.
2. Choose about 3 - 5 different colours, stick with them and be consistant. If you use a black background use it throughout the site.
3. Empty space is dead space, dead space can be filled in with stuff you have to scroll down to find.
4. Have patience, and lots of it. :)

site looks good, but i think you say your site title too many times on the first page. The main image, should stay, but to the left it says it again, and into the news section, it says it again. LOL
