Hi All!!

This is my first message! :)

I have a question for you! I have this forum http://www.maverick.bbk.org/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi hosted on bbk, but it's incredibly slow!!

I have an f2s account, but it offers only 20 megs, and my forum, nowaday, use 1,5 mb!

I listen about free space that offer 1 gb space, unlimited as bbk does not exist i believe, and very fast!

Could you tell me about one with this features? :)

Ah, i have one in spaceports, i sign for unlimited and in mail they say only 20 megs!! :mad:

i host mine at yupapa now. try them when new sign-ups are allowed. yupapa is fast and has no ads

Spaceports does offer unlimited space. But you only get 20mb to start. If you want more, then you need to log into your account, and select "request more space" from the menu. If the banner placement is right on your account, and you haven't violated the TOS, the you will usually get it. However, they'll ask if the space is for any copyrighted stuff. (sounds, images, etc.) If that's the case, then you have to FAX them writted permission from the copyright holder saying you have permission to put those files on your site.

http://www.nightsteel.com offers "unlimited" space (it's actually 1 gig).
http://www.mifix.net also offers "unlimited" space.

I don't recommend either of them. But hey, you might like 'em.

Why don't you reccomend that site? Are they too slow?

If i'm in Italy, it is better to take an account in here for speed?

I have forget an important thing!!!

It should be quite fast...

try bbk.. you can take a coffe break any time you load a page...:(

There a program or website to test the speed?

Yupapa is free, you can also choose for a paid option but they offer free hosting... Yupapa is quite fast for me for hosting my Ikonboard on. They have no unlimited space, but for ikonboard Yupapa is enough I think.

but 30 mb are about 15.000 msg!!! I have mine with 900+ msg and it use 1+mb!!!

can you give me your url please? I have to "touch with hand!!!" :)

No, they aren't slow. Both aren't too reliable IMO. But like I said, they might just be the host for you.

I thought what he said he was to "touch with hand", not "touching and hand".
