Hi everyone,

Has anyone tried http://www.addr.com ? Their hosting plans look good but i'm not to sure. If someone has tried them can u please post your experience with them.

NBC or ABC news had reported. that a hacker from the netherlands had hack addr.com and have stolen over 2000 creditcard. and he gave the news station 5 cc number to proof it.. So i don't think you want them.. as you can see there secruity suck.

Long time ago I had an account with ADDR for about a week. After a ton of e-mail regarding getting my site set up, and not a single response I cancelled. Still no response and ended up having to send a very nasty e-mail to them mentioning my next move of contacting a lawyer regarding getting my money back. They quickly replied after that saying they'd refund me.

And yes, their creditcard info got out apparently. Even after all this time it appears my information was still stored with them, as I got a call from my bank regarding it. Why the feel the need to retain CC information well after an account is closed is beyond me.

I found them to be poor at best and couldn't recommend them to anyone. As a host myself there are certain basic functions that must be provided to a customer. ADDR met none of these as far as I was concerned.
