Domains and hosting are so cheap these days... the cost factor for the return spam isn't worth it.

Which OS are supported?

JustinSurfer
June 10th, 2001, 05:30
it supports :

Q. What operating systems will Gator work with?

A. Gator is a Windows program, and will work with Windows 95, 98, Me, and NT 4.0. Windows 2000 is not currently supported (Gator will currently work on this platform only if you are logged in as the Administrator).

Q. Will Gator work on a Mac?

A. Gator is a Windows program; it is not compatible with Macintosh.

Q. What browsers will Gator work with?

A. Supported browsers for Gator include:
Internet Explorer* 4.x and 5.x
Netscape* 4.x
*Please note these must be stand alone versions of the browser, not integrated with other applications or with the ISP (Internet Service Provider) service.
MSN Explorer
AOL 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x

if you do install gator , install it from the source4webmasters.com website or they will not get the cash!

Gator sucks. It loads every time at your cpu startup, spams you with ads, collects some privacy of you and is very hard to remove.

JustinSurfer
June 10th, 2001, 05:36
just go to add/remove control panel + you only need to download it and run it once for them to get the money , then uninstall it

yeah i know how i remove programs, but once I downloaded a program and gator was automatically installed to, and when I removed Gator it installed itself again and again. I just wanted to say that Gator sucks.

Yes, just as long as they aren't warez, pornographic, or anything illegal!

FAQ's don't constitute as a TOS. You agree to the TOS when you sign up, not a FAQ. And even besides that, that right there just means the ads, not the content :D

I submitted an application to see how their service is. Accounts aren't automated. Let's see what happens.

[ADD]
Well, that was fast. They said that they'll host me, only if I
1. Pay $250/year for it
or
2. Sign up for the stuff.

Forget it.
