I know the service has been very unstable lately and I apologize. I have decided to take down the sites for a little in order to reorganize things. DigitalRice has grown to over 30,000 members in less than 5 months. This was unexpected. I will not shut down the service for good. I will always provide this free service as long as everyone appreciates it. Please be patient as I work to get these issues resolved. The sites may go up from time to time. Hopefully these issues will be resolved within a week. Thanks everyone for understanding. I will once again make DigitalRice the best ad free hosting on the web. Pleaes check back constantly for updates. Please do not post up complaints and such. It will not help the situation. I am doing my best to get the sites back up. Would everyone rather me leave it up and deal with the frequent downtime and slowness

I've read it too, my website is also located there. But you know, atleast they apologize for the downtime, and explain what they are doing. Doesn't happen all too often for free FWP's..

so far your preditcion has been wrong. Digitalrice is still around, and not they are even better. I am not using them for and active website at the moment, but my account has stayed up and there has been little downtime. Speed is not too bad either.

And, they have subdomains again!
