Ultrixhosting.com Under New Management?? I dotn seem to believe this that they are under new management. They are saying that the company was sold and they are moving all the accoutns to their servers. It doesnt seem to make any sense at all why another company buyout this crappy host especially. Bad Reputation and Bad History with customers. :shame:

ANyone can confirm that they are under new managemnet?

As a member of ultrix hosting (we have left but still have access to the WHM hosted on their servers), I can verify that they have been bought out. The new datacenter will taking the customers and destroying ulrixhosting. They are extremely helpful.

*** If the Ultrix AIM support member contacts you, ignore them!! They are trying to scalp money from confused customers. If they threaten to delete your site, don't listen to them. This happened to me, but I contacted the new company in time.

Review the Ultrix hosting support forum for more information.

Hi,
I read in certain forums that ultrixhosting was bought out by your company. If this is true I want to know what I can do to get the money I was cheated out of back.
The following is a cut n paste from my paypal account. user tommyjh02@myway.com .
Payments from Oct. 26, 2003 to Oct. 26, 2004
Date Type To/From Name/Email Status Details Action Gross Fee Net Amount
Oct. 1, 2004 Payment To Cliff Conradi Reversed Details -$5.00 USD $0.00 USD -$5.00 USD
Sep. 1, 2004 Payment To Cliff Conradi Completed Details -$10.00 USD $0.00 USD -$10.00 USD
Aug. 31, 2004 Payment To Cliff Conradi Completed Details -$5.00 USD $0.00 USD -$5.00 USD
Aug. 31, 2004 Payment To Cliff Conradi Completed Details -$26.00 USD $0.00 USD -$26.00 USD

The oct 1st five dollars was refunded by Paypal because they couldn't get in contact with him, they were originally for the name servers that never worked.
However the Sept. 1st name server payment was not refunded because he told me he would get them working.
The $10.00 on Sep. 1 was for the installation of whm.cart which never properly worked after he installed it.
The 26.00 was for the three month reseller plan. If you can refund me for these I would appreciate, after all if you bought their company I assume you took the debt with you. So that would be 46.00, of which I'm only asking for 20 dollars of since I did recieve the first month of service. I began asking for my refund in Sept. and that is when he stopped responding to me. I even called and left messages.

Thanks,
Tommy Holloway

original owner posted today in Ultrix forum...

The problems with Ultrix Hosting now have all been solved. I was under a move from Vancouver Washington to Nashville Tennessee. This caused some stress on the company. I have purchased more servers to hopefully eliminate all downtime. If there is anymore, it will be back within 5 minutes as guaranteed. I apologize the the hastles and look forward to continuing running this company.

This whole Ultrix Under new management is really confusing. I am still trying to sort out the facts. Our site has been deleted from their site. Luckily, most of our customers have been transferred to our new datacenter. Although a few were affected. WE ARE EXTREMELY SORRY FOR THAT!!

For the record, LCR Hosting did not buy Ultrix Hosting. It was xmanged who did. Sorry if there was any confusion.

So far as I have found out, xmanged backed out of the buy-out because Ultrix demanded an additional $5000 on top of whatever they were paying for it.

It looks like the people at Ultrix Hosting are sticking around. Too bad...
