We would like to introduce our new Invision Board Hosting service called Pro Board. We are aware there are many free board hosts around so please give us a chance to introduce our goals.

Pro Board Features

Pro-Board.com offers standard Invision Board hosting. Unlike many other hosts we allow users to modify the board wrappers to customize their board. You can uload custom emoticons, upload custom images to use with your board and also offer other unique features like our integrated Meta Tag generator to promote your board even more.

You can modify your style sheets, html templates and even ask us to upload custom image folders for styles you want to use.

Our servers are hosted with The Planet to make sure that you are hosted on high end dedicated servers. We are here to stay and not yet another "I wan't to share my 50 GB traffic package with you" company.

Once signed up you will be able to access your forums by using a sub domain like yourname.pro-board.com but you can also use the long version pro-board.com/index.php?proboard=YOURID - it's up to you.

Downsides
- We do not offer FTP access
- We display ONE 468 x 60 banner on your board

- Backup Support (database backup)

Please be aware that we do NOT allow any illegal board content. Illegal content is defined as: Porn, mp3 downloads, torrent sites, old warez, warez, cracks, serial forums etc. Such boards will be deleted on a daily basis.

That's a pathetic answer, considering there are very, very, very, very, very, very, VERY few FREE forum hosts that give you FTP access.

That fact that they're giving the service for FREE should be enough. Quit being greedy. :shame:

It's not being greedy, its just that some people like to have the most freedom they can with their forums especially with forum hosts that claim that you have complete control over your forum. But then again I can understand the security risks with having ftp.

Well thats your opinion. My opinion is that I like to edit my forum files for some reason or another. When I was new to forums I didn't need ftp, but as I became more experience I came to realize ftp is very important. :-)

If you want that much freedom, you should be paying for webhosting so you can host a full, registered version of IPB.

Well for some cases you 'should', but sometimes luck comes your way and you find someone who will give it to you for free. :-)
