First and foremost, I'm not a hosting company, I just happen to have spare space/bandwidth to host, although I'll try to be as professional as I can.

Space & BW restrictions/limits I don't set any limit, but my package does have bw limit, so as time pass I'll see how many people that I can accept, I currently have ~25-55gig bw available and around that ballpark.
I wouldn't want to host forums that have a lot of bw usage nor do I want to host forums that doesn't have any bw usage at all.
Ads? I don't have ads on my forum, and not on yours either.
Language Doesn't matter
FTP Access Yes at request, read my other post.
Terms? The usual that everybody uses, no illegal, copyrighted, pornography, discrimation forums etc...
Price? None

What kind of forums can you get? Invision (unlicensed only), phpBB, YaBBSE & punBB.
These are pre-installed scripts from cpanel. I'll help install theme when I have spare time.

I'm sure that some people will hesitate, etc... you can check it out at first, ask questions and stuff. As I said before, I have spare space from hosting a few personal websites so I won't go anywhere.

Where at? http://www.zepan.com/forum/
Your forum will be http://www.zepan.com/yourforum.

You'd have to register at my forum, in order to register for the service. I don't require a minimum postage before requesting, but i do ask that you come back and participate :)

Ah, the wonderful voice of people, how powerful they are to change my mind :D
Anyhow, it seem that a lot of people wants FTP access to come with their service.

I was going offer it if they are participate in the forum, this'll be one of my lost but hopefully I can do a headstart, instead, I'll give FTP first and hope that I can get what I want in return. :)

First off, if you have a windows server... then you can't allow people to CHMOD, that's one bad reason to host people on a windows-driven H.D.D.

No, I said that if your server is run by Windows Server (2000, or XP, or whatever)... then the people you host aren't allowed to CHMOD anything, as the only server that allows you to chmod is...

UNIX... write that down everyone, it's the only server type at the moment that allows you to CHMOD.

:) I know less and less everyday.
Anyhow, DarkBlood, can you maybe give a link regarding unix being only allowed chmod?
There are some, myself included, would love to learn more about it.

If you use WS_FTP (no matter the version), right-click a file... go to FTP Options or similar), then go to CHMOD (Unix).

The unix next to CHMOD's name means this function only works on UNIX servers. Also, if you run a windows server... and you try to CHMOD through PHP (using chmod()), or using CHMOD in WS_FTP without knowing this information, it'll give you something like the below error:

Could not CHMOD file ___________, check the server type or information if you allow this function.

Ah, ok, seems like I learn new stuff everyday rather than know less :D
Anyhow, did a check and it seems to chmod fine on the server, but then again, the server isn't windows, so i suppose it should work.

Thanks for the explanation

Even if it's LINUX, it still won't work... but I guess that can be remidied. Keep up the good work.
