I like some of the header, the part to the left, not sure about the rest to the right, as far as I can see, theres no real site introduction, thus whats it`s all about, yet another portal system, not sure... the layout seems fine but the standard grey look is boring and dull, IMHO it needs brightening up, maybe change the skin into colours from the header, make it all one and not the same old look as many other sites that have been rushed, good luck. :)
