Dear Peo,
Can we please have larger Personal Message boxes, I hate having to delete messages, although your restrictions are forcing me too.
Could they maybe double in size? please? ;)
PS. The forum's visitors opinions are in the poll at the top.
Thanks,
LeX

Woah, you have so many pms that you're forced to ask Peo for more space? Holy cow! :D

I don't have that many... just I hate having to delete them when I've got a full page... two pages would be nice. :)

I've had a couple.
You mean we're only allowed 15 messages before we can't receive anymore? That sucks

I think it's more like twenty... although it still sucks. Forty would keep me happy for quite some time. :)

My email box is constantly at about 30.

30?
I'm guessing you get no Spam! :)

Actually, I delete the spam.
But I don't get much.

Today, so far... deleting all my spam I have 12 e-mails. Before the spam is removed it's about 32 or so. :(

The hotmail account that I never use has tons of spam while my other email which I use all the time has almost no spam... I wonder why...
LeX
June 18th, 2001, 04:45
Well, the reason's obvious. You don't use your hotmail account because it has spam... :D

it's just one of those things once an email gets on the spam lists it starts flooding in. I find you get nearly none or 15 a day.
I have one email address balewoo@oneofmydomains.com that i have never used but it gets 10-20 emails a day. I'm not sure why or how but anything that goes to that just goes straight in the bin. somehow it got on a list and then it just starts up :(

I have not used that email address to sign up for anything.

With djcl.com, I get a lot of spam from accounts like sdfk@djcl.com, people who just randomly type in an address to sign-up for programs and I get all their spam! :(

Well back when I voted on this poll, I hadn't gotten any either, but since then I have gotten about 50 or so.

A good thing would be if there was an easy way to save certain messages. Forward to yourself by email for instance. If there is such an option I haven't found it.

this message limit sucks :(
also it'd be nice if you got told your box was full rather than telling you that pm's have been turned away

Sorry to rehash this old thread, but twice I have tried to reply to a moderator regarding an issue, and his mailbox was full.
I had to PM him through another BB to get the message through.
If not general users, then increase the moderators mailboxes :)

I've increased the limit now. Please regularly delete older PM's.

It's a good thing other people on this board are a lot more helpful than i am. I haven't encountered this problem yet.

I can understand a forum moderator running out of room from all the members sending pms to them. But a general member running out of PM space. It sounds like you need to delete your messages after you read them.

At IGNBoards, I really needed a PM box. I don't know why people still need one here. It's just a free webspace site with a message board!

I think all BB services should have PM boxes for everyone. Sometimes I get a few messages from people who have questions, or would like some info from me. They are also probably very useful for the mods.

That's why they invented E-MAIL. If you don't want people contacting you by e-mail, you shouldn't be asking for private messages anyway. LOL
