Probably..

although I never really liked single player games, but their multiplayer counter parts. Half-Life was the exception to this - perhaps this will be too.

In Poland, they were in such a hurry with HL2, they put defective CDs in boxes :shame: Maybe they wanted to record them too quickly??

I saw it last night. It made me laugh.

And Half-Life 2 is so far a great single player game.

Its a world wide release. Just this morning I had a friend holding a copy of the retail set just before classes (released last night in aus)

Well I got it, took 5hrs to get thru and unlock it, but the game is totally playable on my laptop.. looking shweet

I saw it today, but only cos I know where to go to get games before they are released in Australia. *shifty look* And no it is not Kazaa. It was priced at about $84.95 I think.

But they didn't have my new Legend of Zelda game yet.. damnit

Worldwide release eh? Yea, actually I think I saw a sign in EB about that. Ok, forget my earlier post then lol.

Did you guys hear Resident Evil 4 (GCN exclusive, I believe) has been pushed back until Jan? Can anyone confirm/deny this?

well, you can download HL2 legally anyway, playing it on the other hand is a whole different matter .___.

I have it and I'm about 3/4 done. Got it the day it was released.

I should get a GameCube(for the Resident Evil games..and Zelda :D)

I want to get it but I doubt it'll play (well?) on my integrated graphics.

And I heard that DirectX 8 gameplay is quite sucky on HL2
