Which web host-local or US/UK based?

Hi guys,
Just wondering, that when it comes to choosing web host,do you have any requirement like this also that you want to go for US/UK or any particular country based web host only? If yes, why?

Lets put it this way:

UK = Better Support
USA = Better Prices

I usually go for U.S based hosts because I also live in Canada and the exchange rate for pounds is like 2.3/1.

Well thiers nothing like Better Support .... I accept that you have to pay more to the UK Hosts due to the High Bandwidth Cost thier but it also proves the fact that "You Get what you Pay for"

So you Pay more to the UK Host & get better Support :P
