I don't know, but i always used Multimania.com or Nbci.com
Especially Multimania is good for me. They are really fast and their FTP works great.

If they are only a few bytes big like they say there are on your download page i see no one will have a problem with it, hehe :)

it should be kilobytes , not bytes!

You mean you can't link to files on other servers?

Basically he's looking for a host stupid enough to give him free bandwidth and transfer in return for nothing. You'd think there would be tons of places that would allow this, but surprisingly there aren't. News at 11.

Now I'm sure Multimania.com allows this. A friend of me has a site at F2S and he links to files on Multimania and it works without any problem...

No wonder so many hosts go down...
You fill up their servers and connections with files from which they get no ad revenue.

I'm sure that when a host finds out that the site has no pageviews but takes a lot of bandwidth, they'll delete it.
The only host that actually allowed that was stas.net, but the are dead now. Probably because of this...

I know this because it happened to me... I had about 50megs of files at crosswinds and tripod and one day everything was gone.

I don't think Crosswinds and Tripod allow leeching of files from other servers. They just intercept it with their own pages.

:)

I just looked at little bit around on the site and I saw that Multimania has:
*PHP and MYSQL (you must activate it)
*they offer unlimited webspace
*they have almost no ads... sometimes, a popup-ad appears...
