A thought on catagories

I was thinking maybe the free hosting offers forum could be split into free ad supported/free no ads/free post for host. It seems to me to really be 3 seperate and very different types of offers. Just a thought.

Thanks for your suggestion. In my opinion that wouldn't be good. But let's hear what others have to say about it.

I think maybe the "Free hosting offers" forum can have a subcategory "Require forum posting" so those looking for hosting without having to post in a forum don't have to see those offers.

As long as this has come up -- years ago (before we had the "Free Hosting Offers" forum, there would appear in the "Free Webspace" forum posts by people who were not connected with any hosting company: "Just found -- three new hosts"

I rarely see this anymore -- perhaps because people don't know where to put these kinds of posts. They should probably go into "Free Hosting Offers," but the sticky ( http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39819 ) definitly intimates that only the host OPERATORS should be posting in that forum. (" . . . forum for free hosts to advertise their offers.")

Any thoughts on this?

I see the confusion, but this is how I intended it to be:

If you are not a free host and find new free hosts, it should be posted in Free Webspace.

Free Hosting Offers is only intended for web hosts to advertise their free hosting.
