This seems like the right place to ask :)

I need:
2.5GB/month (or more)
10+MB of storage space (the more the better, because that means less users on the server which means a faster server).
PHP4
1 MySQL database (i'm willing to let this one go... if needed, rather not)
Static IP
good uptime
telnet (for MySQL)
1 domain hosted
no subdomains needed
no setup fee
FTP (anonymous FTP not required. probly rather not)

all this for less than $75/yr (i'd rather pay per year)
oh, don't post anything with 'Unlimited bandwidth' or 'unlimited space'. Not interested in doing business with liars.

any host you submit i'll be comparing to the starter package at digitalspace.net ( http://www.digitalspace.net/hosting/index.html )

Digitalspace have more downtime than any webhost im aware of so id hope people recommend you a better webhost. People know who i recommend -

USA - http://www.dim8.net
UK - http://www.kdawebservices.com
Canada - http://www.tera-byte.com

... man i'm having the inverse effect on everything
tera-byte gives me 4 times as much downtime as digitalspace... at least!
I checked out dim8.net but $75/yr is a lot for what i'm gonna be using it for... Just another hobby-site...

Thanks though. Might try to pull the price down with a custom plan at dim8... But isn't dim8 just a tera-byte reseller (4webspace)?

Tera-byte have had some problems with there firewall. Thats what has been causing problems with there uptime but im told they are working to correct this problem and i hope they do also.

Dim8.net have an RAQ located at tera-byte yes.

hmm... i ordered a custom plan from dim8, and strangely i feel like i got 'more for less' (compared to their normal plan). Even if a little more expensive than digitalspace.

sorry, Donovan, i already ordered the custom plan...

on the other hand, i have visited your site before and taken it into consideration, but your bandwidth limits seem kind of low...

well yes i only need 2.5 GB transfer...
but the most important thing in the first post is that i'll compare to the best offer.
i've got 5GB transfer for less than your cheapest plan (which is 2GB transfer).
also, you don't have any discounts if you pay yearly, which is probably the biggest price-difference.

you'd probly make a killer offer in a custom plan, not sure if you could beat the other offer, but it's too late now.

I am sorry that I broke the rules. I will remove them immediately.
