An e-mail is circulating which looks like it comes from Paypal. However, if you activate the link in the e-mail you’ll end up on this (http://210.222.212.NOSPIDERS229/www/blc/main/www/NOSPIDERSonline.paypal.com/webscr/paypal_login-run/SSLsecure/index.php?redir=) page. It all looks real enough and you can login using any combo you want. That will take you to a new page, on which you are asked to fill in your creditcard details. Do not do this. This is a scam and your details will be stored in a database and used for illegitimate purposes. A similar (http://210NOSPIDERS.222.212.229/www/blc/main/www/NOSPIDERSsignin.ebay.com/ws2/eBayISAPI.dll_SignIn.htm) page has been set up to de-fraude Ebay users. The website from which these pages are run is registered to Ginsang Information Telecom in Korea. It could be that they are a legitimate company, but that their servers have been hacked in to. If you receive a Paypal e-mail don’t forget that you have been warned.

* Links are mophined.

Sometimes the link is disguised to look correct. Just because it says paypal.com on mouseover doesn't mean it really is, if it's an HTML email. It's much better to just never click such a link and simply type paypal.com into your browser, as paypal suggests. Though generally when I get an email claiming to be from paypal, unless it's a reciept for payment sent/received I just presume it's a scam and delete without reading... as probably 90% of emails supposedly from paypal are such scams, and if there's anything real I need to know I'll find it out next time I login. This has been going on for many years, it's not as though these scams are new.

Yea but sometimes if you use YOURNAME@domain.com, some spam's do come with "Dear [YOURNAME]". I.E.: They use the word before @.

Best is to never click on any email link!
