Hello Everyone,

I'm currently looking for a free shoutcast server provider. In return I could include your songs in the server. I can also refer people to whoever is willing to provide me with such a free server. I can't pay anything due to the fact that I am only 14 years old and have absolutely no money. :( I would also be willing to help out with advertising your hosting if you wish. Thanks either way.

The Specifications:

- 20+ listeners
- Online 24/7
- 24kbps+ Streaming

You can contact me via:

MSN: system@nextrpg.com
AIM: gravkos
E-Mail: system@nextrpg.com

rough estimate you'r looking at 123Gb of transfer per month @ 20people @ 24kbps @ 24h

I highly doubt someone will give you that :)

You'r better off hosting from your computer if your connexion permits it

LOL, if you want to broadcast to that many people you have to pay or lower the quality. Who are all these people anyways... you now they just don't come looking for you!?!

canardpress, please, unless you want a whole angry mob of people doing that to your reseller requests, lay off this kid, peace.

Give up hope - or get the folks to chip in to pay for it.

My folks will never pay for anything related to hosting. They don't even understand the concept of hosting. I can explain it to them so many times and they still wont understand. Thank god an online friend of mine bought me the domain nextrpg.com for 6 years.

Ok, first of all I'm no beating on any kid. I had the same problem, and I no longer need a reseller. Why don't you try asking a friend? Most people with T1 or cable have semi-ulimited bandwidth. Otherwise it would seem you have no options.

Well, that's understandable I guess, mine are sorta like that too... must be a very good online friend of yours for them to buy you a .com for 6 years! Well, if you don't give up hope, then good luck with however it goes :-)

[EDIT: If you have an always-on connection with your own computer, and have a high/unlimited download limit (some ISP's do offer that...), then you could always download the shoutcast server and run it on your own computer - http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,6242,00.asp ]
