Can anybody tell me about the pros and cons of addr.com? I am considering moving my domain there.

You can head for webhostingtalk.com and ask for opinions. There are a lot of members and I am sure that some of them used or are using addr.com who can answer your questions.

Yes i wouldn't reccomend ADDR, i know a friend who users them and he isn't happy at all :(

Tell you friend to move hosts then :)

Addr.com have a dreadful reputation but people sign up for because they have banners on every major hosting directory so newbies think well if they can afford this then they are the company to be with. Mega Bucks doesnt equal good service.

Your definetly right here! i should tell him that, and thats how he found them on an hosting directory via an banner ad lol.

Didn't they have a recent experience where they were hacked and lost clients information (including credit card numbers)?

Yeah they did and a lot of there customers were spammed by www.dotcomavenue.com being told addr.com was closing down.

That alone would make me look elsewhere.... and there is plenty elsewhere.

lol alot of plenty elsewhere, which ever hosting directory i visit, there is an ad from addr. :(
