Now don't let the topic fool you - I'm not saying using free templates are a bad thing, but I'm thinking of it at a web-designer / webmaster perspective...

I use free templates all the time, but it seems a lot of them always need a LOT of editing for it to be just the way I want it - of course they can't know how every user wants the templates, but it annoys me when they don't include blank image files, and I have to make them blank myself to be able to do it properly...

Anybody else think this? :P

Are you talking about templates that include graphics or are you complaining about templates that are the shell/skeleton html/CSS/list the types... design?

Although complaints can be made about both types *LOL* :biggrin2: I am happy that they exist. I like CSS templates.

Do you have any favorite CSS templates?

Think hes complaining that some dont have the blank image files, like some dont have an empty banner where you can edit and put in ur own name..

Yeah, I meant the image ones - the CSS ones are ok :)

Still, gives me something to do I guess :P

Use Photoshop Templates, they are good for making any changes you need. I don't like templates though, I prefer to use elements from templates as an inspiration in creating original layouts, then your site is unique :)
