Sorry i don't agree with what Mandrake said and no im not trying to cause an arguement i wont do this via email. I have a problem with the board i'll say in public. If you did the job PEO gave you on trust to keep the forums clean then i wouldnt be doing this. How come when this is done on other forums its actually discussed so people can voice there opinions?
I've been using this site since December 1999 i think. In that time all spam and trouble causing users have been dealt with up until recently and that makes the moderators look bad. I have nothing against you guys up until the last week youve done a great job but you seem to be slacking and if you are too busy to do the job of a moderator you should say you can no longer do this job. Let Peo give the job to someone who is around a lot and will keep the spammers and trouble makers out of here.
I'll keep posting this till i'm blue in the face until its dealt with properly. Locking threads and posting the rules in the forum in question isn't going to solve things. You gotta do the mod job right or dont do it at all.

You know.. Chicken was the only mod here that kept this place in shape (other than PEO). Where is he? I haven't seen him in a LONG time. He posts on wht.com forums.

I'm simply enforcing Peo's rules. The following is a quote from a post Peo made last December regarding this matter:
>
We will accept discussions about our rules in public on the Site Feedback forum. We will however no longer accept or participate in public discussions about actions of the moderators...

Here's the whole post if you wish to read it:

All I will say is that Chicken is currently on vacation, RockerGirl is moving, and I know Peo is also on vacation although I beleive he is checking in every now and then... So therefore we are a little short-staffed at the moment so a little slack would be nice! :)

Simple solution move it to the site feedback forum. And how can you discuss the boards problems in any other way if you dont know whats going on behind the scenes? would it hurt to put an announcement and say we are a little bear on mods right now due to holidays and personal commitments so please have patience through this period?
Would prevent this happening im sure of it. But when its pointed out for 3 days running and nothing is done and i've even seen myself that mods have been around during that period it looks bad. I like this forum its a good resource but if we the users dont have a clue whats going on and nobody takes action against spammers we get pissed off.

It's right to the left of "IP: Logged", in plain sight. The line as a whole reads "Report this post to a moderator | IP: Logged"

Sorry for not being around during the last week, I'm on vacation. I will be away for another week, Chicken and rockergrrl is out of town aswell as mentioned by Mandrake.
I try to check email and this forum almost daily, but I don't have too much time at the moment. Everything will be back to normal next Monday.
Again, sorry about this.

I think most of understand, Peo. Look at the bright side everybody; this just goes to show that multiple moderators are useful ;)
