Hey everyone.

Alright, Im a big video gamer geek, and I run (well, ran) a Final Fantasy site. I lost my password and cant get into my FTP at my old host so now I need a new one.

- Preferably space over 200MB (allowing MP3's would be nice)
- Preferably no ads or a movable banner.
- CGI-Bin
- FTP uploading
- Speediness. ~_^

Thats about it.

that's impossible. (200 MB + CGI-BIN + SPEED + NO ADS)
you could try spaceports.

There are quite a few hosts that cater only to video game sites, and from what I have seen many are very good. You should check them out.

here (http://www.freewebspace.net/cgi-bin/games/db.cgi?sb=1&so=ascend&view_records=1&Space=%3E50&FTP=FTP) are all the ones listed on FWS.net that have FTP and more than 50mb

in that case, you might as well just look around for game sites (places where they do reviews and they give cheats, etc. like ign, but not ign :p). places like ffonline.com etc. (note ffonline does not do hosting :p)

I know I've seen FFOnline.com host that FFGallery site.. (now known as FFArtwork.com).. I don't think they'd actually host strangers though.. they say no to strangers.. *cough*

I was just wondering if you just lost your password, is there any way that you can retrieve it? Such as getting in touch with whoever is hosting your site, who you signed up with, or who you registered it from? See if they can somehow retrieve it back for you from their records or whatnot. (just wondering)

It wasnt a sign up-able host. It was a guy who ran a game host emailing me saying "I'll host you" in 98'.

email the barrysworld webmaster...he might give you more space than 30MB if it is a good site...
