Wonder if anybody has any experience with OnlineNIC reseller hosting packages here http://www.onlinenic.com/hosting/compareplan.php?

Their packages seem to be really robust with the smallest package 2.5G GB Disk Space and 125 GB Monthly Transfer, prices are not bad, $21.24/month with their ongoing promotion.

I am thinking about trying out with them and let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

<<<MOD EDIT>>> Please don't respond unless you have specific experience with them

thansk for your comments Dragonlordgod, I see both good comments and bad comments about them, and seems that some of the disatisfaction was from their end users who had bad experience in getting services from their resellers. I was able to talk to some support members of OnlineNIC online through IMs (their IM account info is at http://www.onlinenic.com/support/) and they seem to be readily available, but I am not sure about their system functionality and stability, maybe you could give me some further suggestions.

Just beware of what you signup for, those review were already a warning. Because Bad > Good. Anyways, it's you choice. Of course they won't say: "Yeah, we've been bad to them, we should have done that." Check ur PMs.

You do realize that price is based on a 1 year plan that will cost you $254.88 up front don't you? Also the fact that they ask for payment info (credit card, etc.) without using a SSl certificate is a big :shame:

Those two factors alone would be enough to make me look elsewhere but that's just me.

thx for your advice. I also checked with Robotical they do seem to be a lot more professional as far as hosting is concerned, but if I am asking for around the same package as OnlineNIC's doing the price they offer could be much more expensive, and seems to be no free domains available. I guess I would have to look further.

I have already sent an email to OnlineNIC asking for the problems Curtis H. pointed out, let's say how they will reply.

Got reply from OnlineNIC, the response time is not bad:

"We could only accept orders in 1 or 2 years' term at the moment and we highly suggest you to first test out on our demo http://www.onlinenic.com/hosting/pem.html and ask us any questions you have before you decide on whether to go with us.

The better way to secure your transaction information is to place the order within our system. You might first sign up for a free OnlineNIC account and then login with your onlinenic account and go to hosting cp , click billing.

You can place order at Top > Account with provider > Subscriptions I have . By doing so, all data will be processed under SSL.
