In an Internet advertising market where CPM rates for banner ads have REALLY died (now around 50 cents CPM for a good program) popups are looking better and better. Most popup rates are around $3 CPM, but I've seen some as high as $10 CPM in recent days.

Web publishers are hoping that the popup/popunder market is not just a "phase" that will die out, but rather will continue to be strong.

Web surfers hope the darn things die a quick death because they are, quite honestly, annoying.

With the influx of low cost domain registrars into the market, you can't really blame NameZero for trying to make money in whatever way they can. The special deals they offer aren't as lucrative as they used to be.
