Yes yes yes, I know, this has been asked at least a hundred times, if not a thousand.... I've read every single thread in this forum, but still can't make up my mind.

First, like what they always do, I'm gonna post my wish list:
*.com domain for around $10 without any hidden fees or transfer fees, including transfer of registrar and/or ownership, etc. In other words, the final bill should be whatever price the registrar says a domain costs. Free parking would be nice too, but not neccessary if everything else applys.

I've seen lots of popular registrars, including
http://www.000domains.com
http://www.gkg.net
http://www.godaddy.com
http://www.powerpipe.com
http://www.namecheap.com
and a few others that I might've missed, and I've visited each and every one of them and read their faqs and everything... but I still need your help.

So. Is there any registrars out there that's just right for me? If there's a registrar that you think is my ideal registrar but is not listed above, do feel free to share! Thanks...

I think many of us want to know...

Can anyone just point out the differences between them, instead of just recommending the one you use and say we should use that one cause it has worked good for you? Or are there no differences?

Just looking at Godaddy's website, they are cheap, but if you wish to use name forwarding, then you gotta pay extra $9.95/yr.

What's that mean? Like use a cloaked frame? Or is it extra to enter name servers? I don't think many would use it if you had to pay to do anything but park your domain there.

If you leave your domain parked at godaddy, then you can use their name forwarding feature.. i'm not sure if it's plain redirection or cloaked redirection using a frame..

it's probably only handy if you wish to point your domain to a free host, one that does not host domains..

i think most registrars offer this feature for free..

Here's a good read on various registrars:
