i type at about 85 WPM when i'm sugared up, 75 on average, and 65 when i'm tired. :cool:

Nearly 110. But that goes down to 55 or so when I am tired.

if i'm drinking starbucks coffee (the store is eerily located 2 blocks from my high school), i'll type at 4 WPM... i get tired from caffeine :o

Lucifer, No 110 is for reports I do, the average for these bulletin boards is about 90.. that I usually get good marks on. Maybe you should think before you type... so you won't say anything stupid like you just did.

I've never tested myself yet..

I think I can be actually quite fast now. I'm still kinda not good with the numbers at the top yet sorta however.. =/

lol :) I hate using the numbers at the top of the keyboard. I always use the number pad along the side. It's funny to sit in class and watch over half the class use the numbers at the top to do Excel work. The keypad is so much faster for that kind of stuff. I suppose it's just a matter of preference.

I type really fast on IRC, sorta fast on these boards, extra slow on homework assignments.

So the range is about 20-90WPM.

I type with my teeth :)

So I type about around 100 wpm... not!!!

I think I type around 34 wpm or more never timed myself.

Not to concerned I guess.

I am not a IRC user.

One thing that has improved my typin was playin scramble games in IRC. Yep.. improved it a lot.. yep. Of course.. except for the number thing.

Scary thing, yes.

Does anyone here type by using the method that typing practice softwares teaches you? Like, putting which fingers on which keys? I never bothered, I type with my own "style" (feel), and I think I am considerably fast and accurate. I make more mistakes and type way slower using the fixed method.

I use a method similar to the typing tutor software method... After all, that's how I learned to type.

I think I type Y, M, and some other letters with the wrong hand though.

I can type 400 char. per minute, overall 300.... how many wpm are that :confused:
