I need a CGI & SSi host! No ads too - any ideas?

I've been seraching these forums for a couple of days now & still haven't found what i'm looking for! So i thought i'd post instead. Here's the specs i'm after:

* A pretty reliable service
* 10-20Mb webspace
* Full CGI access for custom scripts
* SSI included for CGI functionality
* No ads
* FTP access

Thats all i'm after - surely there must be something that resembles this out there! i've tried others but haven't quite found what i'm looking for.....help :)

The best host you'll find with these features is http://www.f2s.com/ , if you can wait until they accept new sign-ups again.

Yeah they do....check the FAQ section. I feel like i've been waiting for ages for these guys to start the sign up process because i've known about them for a couple of months but haven't been able to sign up. I hope it comes soon!

In the meantime...anyone else got any other ideas of a good host?

Why don't they just limit it to 10 mb or 15 to give some more free space.

How long have you guys been waiting for F2s to reopen? There is this place that spam me an e-mail that they will be opening a fwp no ads, php4, and mysql but only 3mb.

As for reliability...i'm not sure yet. I've been with them for a week and they have been down quite a few times. Maybe its just this week IDK.

After I know from gyrbo, i use barrysworld. , cgi, php, perl, no ads.

Actuallythey do .. I use them and i like them )ecept they only give you one MySQL db) otherwise i would keep my site with them but i found a better host!!!:cool:

Thats all very well, but itried there & their hosting is supended for now. So many dead ends :( . Just as i think i've found an ideal host, i find that their host applications are down....

Its not like i'm new to this (look at this site! (http://swat3.g-vortex.net) I just wanted a good hosting solution for another small site i'm working on. I've been wating for F2s for about two/three months now & its getting frustrating!!

Any other ideas ??

sorry .. it wasn't that .. it was cheatman .. if you gotothe main page of freewebspace youcan get there by going to the news and click the one that says "2 new free hosts added today" .. that will have cheatman listed.

Oh dear...a gaming host site - no good i'm afraid. THis site is an entertainments site. Or at least it will be when i get some space for it!! lol

f2s have opened up their signups ontheir new system! Although this means that sites may be down while they test them i've gone ahead and signed up.

Barrysworld is still in the back of my mind though...i was very impressed with the offer and their site. Any other ideas would still be appreciated ....
