Ok, I know this probably sounds weird, but I have to ask.

You see, I registered a domain name 2 months ago, and Im only a student so I cant afford to pay big bucks for hosting.

I know there is alot of free web space places on the net, and that redirect is an option.
BUT, is there any places where I can reg, free host, that gives me an ip that I can add to my dns record.
So when they go to www.mydomain.com it goes to that ip instead of being redirected.

Im not sure if you understand totally what I mean, but if you do then I'd be greatfull for any anwser you can give me :)

I'll check back here..but also my email adress is doubleice@doubleice.com

Thanks

I remember that someone posted a message here asking for free ip. I think the answers were "No".

So, No.

Shouldnīt that be like quite simple? Like:
1: use MYDNS
2: make mydns send your traffic to the IP.

This solution would be very expensive (unless you have a
dozen or more domains that you want to host at that IP).
Another, maybee better solution would be to sign up for a free domain host and use their dns-servers as well!
(Thatīs what I do with some of my *.*.kg domains! :) )
