The speed seems better than it has been before. Actually for me the speed seems decent, and has been for a couple days now every time I check to see if the sign ups are up. However the sign up delay has spent at least around 3 days now ever since it re-opened.

The speed may be ok for now, but as soon as they get a few (or one) bandwidth intensive sites, it will be back to the way it was before. And its not cable, its Sprint Broadband apparently, and i believe that is dsl, not sure tho.

The reason why mifix was slow all of that time is because it was not only serving the main site, but one of the user's sites had a picture on it that was being loaded twice per second according to the apache logs. We deleted that picture and the speed went way up.

Signups are up now, works fine.
You just have to make sure the account is actually created. I've got one working now.

Just dump it and sign up for another - worked for me regarding the activation.
As for the PHP, don't know... you'll have to ask them :)

Found out about php.. They just need to enable it, they know about the problem. It'll be sorted soon they say.
