Changing company name and navigation bar.

I use Dreamweaver to design websites and I know pretty much of what I am doing but there is one thing I am having trouble with. I can't figure out an easy way to change the company name and other information. I know that you have to use Photoshop (which I have) along with Dreamweaver (which I have as well) but I am still having trouble. If anyone can give me a really short cut to how to do this I would really appreciate it.

ehh.....why can info u can't change? open psd, change to company name, then slice it. save it as web.

if u mean change/type info about ur company, no1 do it for you. it's ur company and you are the only know about it :D. can i ur URL?

Aki no offense but I have already tried opening the PSD file in photoshop and changed the company name which worked fine. But then when I open the new file back in dreamweaver it is all images. No text boxes or anything.

Aki I suppose I didnt make myself clear. I am just designing sites right now in Dreamweaver. I don't currently have them on the net right now. I am thinking of designing sites for people on the side of my job but I am just not sure of how to change the company name information and stuff on the templates.

I'm not sure if I'm getting this right.

Are you using one of those sliced PS images? If so use Fireworks if your using Dreamweaver so it's more native than using Imageready.

Now all that is relient on having the origional source!

I use Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Imageready as of now. I will look into Fireworks in just a minute. I am meaning you said for me to post a picture on here and I dont know how to.

Don't take offense but your the one who told me to post a pic here and I simply don't know how to. Secondly I have read a ton of friggin books for PS, Dreamweaver, and Imageready and they don't answer they ? for me which is sort of weird I suppose. I asked for someone to ask what I think is a simple ? especially if they do it all the time but I dont need your smart comments. If you cant help me then dont bother to reply,

i don't read books about photoshop and DW,still i can figure it out. what i THINK that you got a template from some1 (which u are not allow to use) and want to change the "your company name" to your name. That is why i don't want to let us see.

That's my theory

ppl can't help you if you can do a simple thing like change the pic. sorry, but you are not giving infos, no info no help. simple is that. maybe u can call the 1 who sell that template to you and ask them LOL

You know something Aki I am not going to stoop to your level alright? I said before if you can't answer my ? then don't bother to reply simple as that. Secondly I have several hundred templates. I know how to do a lot of things with each one. I just dont know how to change the company name and stuff. You don't want to help me? Fine with me. I just ask you stop replying and let someone else do so. For a webmaster your really not all that smart.

well i am smarter than you ! at least i know how to change the the logo by go in the psd, obviously you are not a webmaster (yet). so what if you have more then hundred templates? i guess you got them from monstertemplate.com as well.
wanna know how to upload? look in the FAQ, u will find the answers

hit prtsc next to insert and delte then hit paste in print then upload hte pic at photobucket
no offense but if u dont know how to fix a logo or text what other thing do u do then?

You have not yet proven that to me as of yet. You always learn new things every single day your alive or maybe someone never taught you that.

Also I didn't get them from monstertemplate.com. I got them from a company I do business with. You can reply as much as you want to. I personally don't care. Your just a wanna be who thinks he knows everything and when it boils down you probably don't know anything.
