Too many connections?

I get this error on my vbulletin...

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Too many connections in /web/sites/101/chtml/www.chtml.f2s.com/bb/admin/db_mysql.php on line 37

I only get like 30 unique visits a day, why am i getting this error?

are you on a shared host or dedicated server? one easy way to fix this without slowing vbulletin down is to disable persistent connections. That will pretty much solve your problem.
