Are you asking for something like apache, the hosting program, or maybe you are looking for homefree, a script. If you be more specific, then we could probably help you.

If ya have your own server, try apache: www.apache.com
Also some good sites:
www.php.net (PHP anways good)
www.perl.com or www.activeperl.com (win) (Perl, may come in handy)
www.mysql.com (MySQL, nice db)
Well, that's about it.

Starting a free host is not a simple thing.... years ago, any host would attarct thousands of users and make a huge profit from advertising.... now things have changed. With tens of thousands of paid and free hosts out there, you have to offer a great service, you have to hve tons of features and high speed. Your also have to fidn how to make a profit, cpm based banner ads are hard enough to find, let alone profit off of.

There's a million things to do besides just find a program. However, if you want to take the quick route and find some generic program, try http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Homepage_Communities/ the top programs used are normally HomeFree, Community Weaver and Web Now. Just keep in mind that you will need to offer more than these services to get users and you'll certainly need a unique angle to make a profit.

Why would you offer illegal files on a public forum? Does it not occur to you that this company is not some giant like adobe or Microsoft and most likely only has a few employees if that. It's one thing to take a copy of windows, but come on, how disrespectful can you get? offering a person's hard earned work, their lifeline for free so that someone can potentially make thousands?

There's nothing more disgusting then taking from those who work to earn their money. Just imagine if your boss decided to give all your pay to me or to the local homeless shelter without asking you. While they might need it, don't you have a right to what you earned??

Guess your service wont last for long.. if you cannot even buy the product for the free webhosting, how can you afford the bandwidth, heh
