View Full Version : Need 2 FWPs for 2 very different sites...

Well I figured out that by joining AOL's hometown I get 12 megs per screen name instead of 2 therefore I have 84 megs of space, but since I pay for AOL, then they surely cant care if I hotlink, right? so anyways I need a fast FWP with no ads and it could have 500k of space for all I care, Id link to the files on AOL servers, and use this other server for the html. Also I have a current site on NBCi, and since its shutting down I need a replacement, Xoom.fr and Xoom.it, which one is better? I can't speak either. hopefully babelfish.altavista.com can translate one of them.

well since xoom.it let me register and xoom.fr wouldn't I guess we have a winner.

I never really realized that you could use xoom.fr or xoom.it . Why didn't anyone figure this out before, it's better than 'nbci'.

me too. Anyone know why? I tried accessing my url:

and it doesnt work...

Did you get the NBCI 404 error on xoom.fr too? It makes me think that these 2 xoom sites must be associated with it. See my other posts in the topic about nbci shutting down.

The page won't even fully load... your title shows up but the only thing else is the ad bar. How come mine doesn't work?

I got the ad bar once, with no page, and then I never got it again. And it took forever to load!

no when I tried to sign up for xoom.fr I get some error page in french saying i didnt fill something out, but all the asterisk ones were fillde out. I think xoom altogether is a goner:( Isn't homestead like the worst free WP ever? besides freeyellow?

use XOOM.it I think it actually works. Mine does.

I would transfer to xoom.it but Im going on vacation on Sunday, and I dont really have time. I guess if xoom.it is still active when NBCi dies, then we'll all be really really lucky.

I hope it is. Though I like hosts with CGI and stuff like that. The unlimited space at xoom.it will really be nice. I think everyone just needs to dig a 'little' harder for unlimited space. Take what you can get.

sweet man i love xoom.it it works great. I LOVE IT.
just hope it stays when nbci dies. PLEASE.
