It is simple.

Use someother colour than white in that whitespace. Also it would be cool if there was some type of mouseover effect on the navbar.

I like the idea, but the blue box thingy is to in ya face, I think you should tone down the blue colour to a lighter shade of blue and the bg an even lighter blue.
Only my opinion :)

it's simple and simple is good but yea all that needs change is the colors i don't know what colors you want but you as well put red in there if you want to say i love america. i'm just playin but yea change the colors.
