Well, it's that time of year again, for those damned cookies to start selling. They are so good....I swear they put crack in 'em. Maybe I just have the munchies. But either way: What's everyone's favorite kind?

Mine are the THINMINT COOKIES! They are so addicting.

I don't get girl scouts :(

All we get is school fundraisers selling M&M's, Mars, Snickers, Maltesers etc... at 3 times the retail price. Send me girl scouts, I want cookies!

Perhaps what was wrong with your post was the fact that it was ENTIRELY off topic?

Use a little common sense.

And yeah, those mint/chocolate cookies are the best thing ever. Except for those plain vanilla ones.

Unfortunately, there are few girl scout troops here. Those that are around, don't sell cookies. Most fundraisers involve selling chocolate bars and candy and such. But I'd buy candy from anyone if they were cute. Even Brad Pitt. So then I could say, 'I bought chocolate from Brad Pitt.'

I wqas wondering the same thing. Maybe it's a US thing. Either that or I've been eating them for years without knowing about it.

wow...we get a lot different girl guide cookies in Canada then in the States. The only one I recognize from that list is the thin mints.

Somoas look kinda gross :confused2

They actually are pretty good.. They don't look too appealing, but they are good. The Tagalongs are like a mix between a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and a cookie.. really good!

It wasn't if you have seen the movie.

There are too many houses to visit here...in fact we've never been visited by girl scouts...only Jehovah's witnesses (and only twice too) :p

man...people would start taking Jehovah's a lot more seriously if they were selling cookies instead of watches and religion.

Turns out I can resist buying things from cute people.

The hawt girl at subway (my age!!!!) tried tricking me into buying 3 cookies, but I had to willpower to resist... and bought one (but I usually do anyway :P), caught me by surprise because I go same time, every week, and expect to see the usual set of faces ready to make my after-training-dinner >.>

I never get anybody here, once my dad apparently signed up for newspaper delivery because the person offering it was pretty, but thats about it..

.. nice avatar :P

I'm trying to get a group of freinds to learn the dance and go to Manifest (like Otakon, but smaller, a lot smaller) and do that >.>

[edit]

They don't go door-to-door here in Atlanta. They spread their cookies via schools and their parents' place of business.

It's like a virus. A very tasty virus of cookies. With no cure.

I couldn't help getting free stuff, except for standing in her line every day ;) I would pay kinda, like order my meal and get a free upgrade, or free dessert. I wonder what ever happened to those AFL fixture keyrings that got you a free upgrade.

I know this dude that works at a local Quizno's. Well, "know" is loosely used. And he doesn't give me anything free. See, this one time me and my friend were drunk. We were past the point of being unable to skate so we went into the Quiznos with our boards. Then we thought it would be funny to sing to guy behind the counter with our boards as microphones. Not just once, either, we sang for half an hour until it closed and followed him to his car singing. Now whenever he sees us walk in he goes "aw hell" and goes in the back.
