I would say not netfirms, because I had one there, then it was deleted, then brought back and now it doesn't work. And not only do you have banners, but pop-ups too.

Probably... mine is hosted at Yupapa, but they don't allow new (free) signups anymore

f2s seem good but from what i hear have alot of downtime

when you first sign up it can be dodgey round about 70% a week but after the first month or so you should start getting 100% uptime , i am!!

I'm using dk3.com for my ikonboard, really fast now when it used to be really sluggish, they'll accept new signups in june 28th.
Not add free, they put a banner following the scroll bar but it bothers neither me nor my members.
My board used to be on EZboard. When you are used to deal with three banners and several popups, dk3 banner add is a piece of cake.

I just couldn't relate fast speed to dk3.
I am in San Francisco, U.S. and the ping time is aroudn 1200-1500ms. :mad:

Believe me I'm surprised too!
dk3 was sooooo slow I was actively hunting for a new host but since a few days it has really improved.
There's surely faster hosts I suppose, but it's nice to see my board appearing as soon as you click on the link, not having to wait several minutes.

mmh I'm getting a ping time around 300-500ms, I'm in France.
