need free host

Need free host that will copy current site, and has builder so I can update. Is there one out there? Also would like host to allow remote linking.

what do you mean copying , tranfering a site?

if so i think tripod.com / .co.uk can offer a transloader but they have banners like most of the online builders

Here is the problem. I once had a site at fc, built with a free off line site builder. I got fed up with fc and went to another host (that I do like), but my free site builder was only for fc. So, I still have that first site just sitting out there (now with lots of dead links), and I would like to have it on another server, update it, and have it as a useful site again. Additionally, where I am now does not allow remote linking..so, my banners wont show up anywhere (i.e. topsite lists). Thats why I am seeking a host that WILL allow it. I dont mind banners from hosts, but really hate pop-ups.

www.asp2.net will be opening its revamped service pretty soon, tueday i think it was.

They have site copier, site builder, online html editor, browser upload and FTP access.

They have ads, no more than tripod, but you can pay to remove them.

Thank you! I will definetly check this out. I did go to freeservers, but they have occasional pop-ups, and I just really hate pop-ups, occasional or otherwise. Banner ads are fine (personally, I think banner ads grab attention better anyway).
