I just ordered the domain name and I need a webhost for it. I want to have vBulletin or if I can't get mysql, a cgi forum. I would much rather have vbulletin though. I'll need some space to upload, like 20+ mb. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to use F2S because their mysql messes up and is not enough space for vbulletin. Digitalrice won't work because it is always having problems. I really don't want to get a free host, i'm really broke. Thanks for any help.

Me and a friend bought vbulletin a long while ago, we split the costs.

I found a site to host my board, (boardnation.com) so now all i need is a free webhost with no ads. The only problem is i want to link to classic games (doom, wolfenstein, classic console emulators, etc.). Anyone got an idea for a free webhost? would your 3hosting4you site be okay?

are you talking about illegal downloads? no free host is going to allow that.

The games I want to put are "abandonware" I think and the emulators are only the original nes that came out in the '80s. I dont think its illegal, but correct me if im wrong.

well, if you have something that no one frequently uses anymore like wolfenstein 3d, then i guess you can put that online. i dont think they'll stop you. by the way, if you're zipping it up, zip it in gzip or bzip tar. best compression, other than an MS-Cabinet.
