I want to install the Ultimate Guestbook somewhere, and F2S keeps giving me internal server errors (500). I'm on server 44 sigh, and I've heard bad things about that one...so I just need a reliable, speedy host with just enough space for a guestbook. Since this is the first time I've ever installed any cgi, I don't know how much space I need, but I doubt it's that much. :)

Probably a couple of mb would be sufficiant.
I've never had problem running any cgi on portland.. but that's sometimes slow at responding and there's a 100mb/mo restriction.
F2s should work. Make sure you have uploaded in ASCII and CHMOD to 755 (777 won't work on F2s)

Only 755? Ok then I'll try that. Then how come you can change it to 777 in ws_ftp?

Nope, still didn't work. Any other suggestions for hosts?

What a coincidence! I had already signed up for both before I even read this post. I'm going to try netfirms just to see if something was wrong with the script instead of the server.

Success! Now I just need to customize it better. Oh it was F2S. It already said the correct paths (except for the non-cgi directory). I also logged in to F2S on the website, and I saw it.
