Or stick to the AIM protocol. There's no good reason to use MSN except for one-way video chat.

Except no one in Canada uses AIM...everyone I personally know uses MSN.

It seems like AIM is mostly a US thing, while the rest of the world can't decide between MSN and ICQ, though MSN seems to be winning out these days.

Jmiller gave me good advice when he told me about Miranda
http://miranda-im.org/

Try it. It's easy to install & configure. It won't hog up your computer's memory. You can connect to MSN Online, ICQ online, AIM online, Jabber online and IRC online all with one easy-to-use lightweight program.

Do you mean MSN and YIM? Surely not ICQ...? Who still uses that?
