How do I filter out keywords in Google Adsense

Just before 3 days, I got approval from Google Adsense, and now I am using it for my website forum. I would like to ask you one thing, I read many places, how to get better ads for your website using keywords etc.

I do not know how should I use keywords? I have got keyword list, but do not know where to use and how to use? Anyone kindly explain me please.

open your account, select your campaign. Just under the title it will say edit or add negative keywords, thats where you change it
