Can someone please tell me if this host is any good? I know it's not completely free, but I'd rather do something like this than pay monthly for a host. $35 is a good deal for a one time fee. Anyways, could someone tell me their experiences or their view on this host.

It's fast and I've never noticed any downtime. If you don't mind not having CGI, PHP, or anything else like that then it's good. For less than $35 you could get a cheap paid host like http://www.discount-hosting.com , though. I'd say DotEasy is a good enough deal when you're registering a new domain, since it's only maybe $10 or so more than you'd pay elsewhere for a domain and there are no extra charges, but paying $35 to transfer doesn't seem like a good deal.
