wouldn't it be cool if there was software that could scan your site and tell you exactly what browsers it wouldn't look right in and why?
Im going to *TRY* to creat it :D
if I get it working I'll sell it for $20 and give a free version to anyone on this board who wants one ;)
(*If* I get it working)

Yes, yes me wants a copy. Put me on top of your list! :D
I have an "emulator" called Browserola. But it's just the major browsers, it isn't updated and doesn't understand CSS.

You might want to have a look at cgi.resourceindex.com or somewhere else before you try and invent something that already exists.. it would save you a lot of time :P and i dont think anyone would pay a dime for software like that.. no offence.

Ha! I'll eat my tail if such a thing exists. I would pay. Not that I have to, since zazoo is giving it to me. :)
But I would rather have an emulator. I need to see how it looks. If you are talking about just what tags are supported in this or that browser http://www.blooberry.com/ already does a good job. Support alas isn't the same as how it works and looks.

I still havent put in all of compatiblity parts of it (such as wether it works in netscape or not and what problemes it would have in netscape or opera and other browsers
that parts going to take some time
the programs also still wonky some buttons dont work at all and the program goes invisible when you close it... I dunno why thats happining but ill fix that too

There is! Somebody posted here a while ago about an online browser emulator that emulates how browsing with the old/dead browsers felt like. If you look at past threads, you might find it.

if ya have ICQ you can get it off me directly, my # is 66904102
now it has a splash screen at startup and the regestration numbers working
I had to write anouther program to code the reg # so this program can code it back
the only problem is now that the reg number doesnt give any more features... awh well
and you can't really see the splash screen either because its such a small program and loads so fast

I remember the site was started by a guy as a hobby and then somehow the site started getting zillions of hits and his web server slowed down and he had to change web servers.... and now the site is being sponsored by Compaq! Word of mouth publicity can do wonders!
