domain propagation



Has anyone noticed that new domain names only take a few hours to be active. ? last year it took 48 hours ..

Actually, Godaddy has nothing to do with domain propagation time. Last year Verisign improved the propagation times for .com, .net etc.

UK, .info domains still take a bit to propagate.

.info domains still take a bit to propagate.

Not true, the last dozen or so .info's Ive gotten have all been available immediately. zero wait time now.

Hmm... It depends on the DNS servers. In Singapore, the propagation for .info domains is giving me headaches. They are not propagating that well. There are still cases of DNS propagation that takes up to 48 hrs once in a while.
