View Full Version : I need a new Reseller or Dedicated Server

Im currently paying $100 every 6months for a reseller with:
Total Quota: unmetered
Total Bandwidth: unmetered
Accounts Included: unlimited
Host unlimited domains
Unlimited Mysql
Linux etc.
Basically they offer good features but they convinced me that they were a good host and hardly have down time. I was with them for 6months already on another server that was worse than this new one that they moved on to.
My site has been down 3 times this week and Im suppose to be running a pic/profile site with alot of users.
I cant really run a website if the sites always down like 3 times a week. The servers fast but the down time is annoying. So I want to know if anyone can offer me a good reseller that is fast and hardly has down time for $100 every 6months like this host does.
If anyone is offering any cheap dedicated servers I would be willing to move on to one of those instead of a reseller. Thanks
PS: When I say unmetered I know what I mean. Nothing in this world can be uinmetered everything has a limit. But I know what i mean so please dont give me lectures about this. Thanks

Meanwhile I cannot offer you unlimited/unmetered space and bandwidth, I can do our RC2 package (http://www.gate2vn.net/services/reseller.php) with 2GB space and 60GB transfer at $25/month. If you pre-paid 6 months, get 7.5% off. checking out our uptime in my signature
about dedicated server: if you can let us know more details, what kind of server, your budget... it would be better to find out a suitable one

Maybe your problem is that you are looking for someone who can offer "unmetered" at $16 bucks a month. I think you should reconsider what you really need and specify a bandwidth and space requirement if you wish to get serious replies.

How much space and transfer do you 'actually' need and does it have to be a reseller (are you hosting others?) A server or a VPS would be a load more expensive so are you prepared to pay more than $100/6 months?

Yes what are you currently using at present, disk space / bandwidth & number of domains

Well the owner of the server hasnt given me a limit on how much accounts I make or how much space and bandwidth I use.

Well do you have a control panel, what did it say last month bandwidth usage, and disk space now?

Is it? What makes you think I dont know about hosts? The reason the sites always down is because of other people on the same server who install software their not suppose to.

Yes I have WHM/Cpanel.
It doesnt matter how much I used last month it matters how much Im planning to use. I can create accounts in WHM with "unlimited bandwidth" and alot of space. E.G. im using one for one of my websites with 6000mb and unlimited bandwidth

If your allowed to create unlimited and planning to do the same with a new host forget it. Whoever your with is being a bit rash.

You company has to be a respectable one. I dont like downtime so if you have alot of downtime dont post. I would like to see your company website and also any customer of yours who uses one of these servers so I can test out the server for speed.
Also I need to be able to pay by paypal.
Because I dont use credit cards at the momment.
Thanks

no down time and sell hosting to people and I mean good hosting packages that people will actually buy.
That part is admirable and goes hand in hand with NOT offering unlimited or unmetered anything. For the quality part of a service, you need set limits so it can be properly managed i.e. not overselling a service.
Also when people are asking what you need just say, no one that has a realistic offer can just guess and be near correct. If your not sure then a description of what you intend and any other info is usefull.
On a final note you will not find 'no downtime' as servers need security updates and all sorts so these may need reboots, so maybe a couple of minutes now and then.
Hope this helps and none of it meant in any bad way but may help in finding what you need. :)

LOL. Everything needs downtime. But constant downtime is upsetting for customers.
Ive re posted info as another topic. It says what kind of dedicated server Im looking for. Because I know a few people arw trying to rip me of by offering me VPS when I want my own full dedicated server and not a shared one.
The set limits are for customers and what I ment by unlimited was enough space and bandwidth for me to sell the packages I want to sell with out actually running out of space after e.g. 5 sales.

Do you think you could do me a dedicated server with the specs I want? or could you recommend anyone who you know owns a good company and not one of those fake hosting companies who are full of lies?
