Getting my first server need CP advice

Hello All!

Today could be the day I purchase my first server. I have been a reseller and I want my own. I use WHM/Cpanel and like it...very easy to use. I have been checking out the prices for it and it does up the monthly running charges for the server. What do you use? What would you reccomend to a "newbie" Where would you go to get the best pricing for WHM/Cpanel?

We use cPanel/WHM on all our Servers. cPanel is the best Control Panel we have seen so far & next comes Plesk.

If you contact your Datacenter, they would give you the lowest price for it.
Most Datacenters offer cPanel/WHM for $20/month.

where do you get your server? Cant they provide you cPanel license? Is there any reason for that? I know some decent providers prefer DirectAdmin over cPanel, if you can let us know more details about your server, it would be better. usually, cPanel comes with server cost you $20-$35/month. Otherwise, you will need external license, that costs you $55/month (the best price)

I think that cPanel and WHM is your best bet. If you don't like that then try Plesk, and the DirectAdmin. That is the order that I would put them in.

yeah cPanel & WHM are one of the best and most runned on servers.
the reason for that is coz it is really easy to use and manage stuff on it.

and after that i think Plesk is also one of the greatest
but it depends on what user has expenence with. :)

Helm is quite good as well, if you have a Windows server.
