Nice layout even though it looks abit plain to me... The content is easy to see and the navigation are also very good. You might want to improve on the layout colours and design. Overall, it is quite good, at least better than what i can do.

Colors are easy on the eyes--no difficulty reading anything and no bright colors that make my eyes tired. good job.

Really plain and simple. Which is good I guess, if it's going to be like a news portal kind of site. The whole "geek" thing and news portal thing reminds me of slash dot, and look at their site. Simple, clear, and concise, which works for this kind of site.
