I remember that show.
The site can use some improvements, if this is your first site, good job! It looks much better than another sites that people make on their first attempt. Overtime you'll improve it and get it even better.
It just takes time and patience.
Goodluck!

Maybe you should start by changing the color scheme.

don't worry about ezForum says in the future, he's a ***** <-- insert your own words here.
and I agree with Robert, for a first website, it definitely kicks the hell out of my first site, keep trying, keep tweaking, and don't feed the trolls.

As for the content: it's a good start. I did not discover the connection between your two tables on the left and the right in positioning or color scheme. Your code is huge, must be around a 1000 rows. Which builder did you use?

My tips for improvement:
1. use a layout. If you are not yet that inspired, go to some paid template sites and just look a bit at them. You'll get some ideas. Don't copy and don't steal designs, just see some nice sites and you'll have inspiration ;)
2. work some more the colour theme
3. make images crisp and clear.
4. don't overuse bold. It's just for some "spicing" not the entire site.
5. try to make links change colour on mouse hover. To do this use CSS. To learn some more about it go to w3schools.com one of the best for tuts and ideas.
and .. congratulations for your effort. It's true the site needs "cosmetic" surgery, but you can do it and improve. Best of luck with it and keep us posted on the updates> I'll come back and tell you step by step what I think about every change you make :)

This looks like some of the first websites that I ever made several years ago. If this is one of your first designs, then I would say good job. Many people starting out make worse looking things than that.
A personal preference though, I think you should size down the font for the content.
