I'm currently running a IRC based java applet here http://www.3rdgen.org/content/chat/index.html

I want to switch to a non-irc (and not html based) chat program because I don't like people messing around with others using IRC commands. I know there are free chat programs out there, but those are ones that link to other sites like Xoom and what not. I'd love some java based program thats priopritary and dosent use IRC commands. People kicking out others is kinda sucky :)

Chad, that stuff is PHP based and not really "live." I'm looking for an applet just like the one i'm running thats not irc based.

Multicity has a pretty good one, but it's remotly hosted w/ads.
