SENECA, South Carolina (CNN) -- An upstate South Carolina family's unexpected delivery has local and federal authorities trying to find out who was supposed to get the nearly 2.5 tons of marijuana left on their doorstep.

The family reported their find to sheriff's deputies after they discovered the pot, packaged in 63 separate bundles, at their front door. Investigators estimated the street value of the cache at nearly $9 million.

I am sure what some of you would do with the Drugs... but to be honest what would you do if you found $9 Million Dollars worth of drugs in front of your door and it isn't your's?

I know a lot about drugs Bigperm, I talked with the DEA before so they can tell me how their entire system works. If you don't report it I think they'd hunt you down until they got it back and again I wouldn't want to be in that spot. I might push the package over to my neighbors door and let him deal with it. :D

what happened to free love - free drugs for all Ok, I need to clarify... All of my friends would get it for free of course... It's a system we have. If you get a certain amount of pot, it is customary for you to share a certain amount of it... With all that... I doubt anybody I knew would want for it for a while. Also, none of my buddies are going to buy 10 pounds from me... So it would go to people I didn't know... very cheap. If it is estimated at 9 million, I would sell it for MUCH less than that. To make it worth my while, but not to make 9 million dollars.

It would be a different story if it was nugs... that much kind bud? I would buy a very big vaccum sealer...

Strangely, enough I lived in the US for nine years, and lived overseas for two, and met with the ambassdors of twenty different countries. I lived in Ecuador, above Peru and Below Colombia. I certainly do know about the real world. I met with Colombian Army Troops with my Dad in the war against Drugs and Rebels.

I'm 16 yrs old. Almost every weekend I've smoked a few joints. Some ppl drink alcohol, other people smoke pot... in my opinion alcohol is even worse than marijuana. Nobody can OD on marijuana!! Unless you're going to eat it or something. Every drug considered softdrugs is not dangerous. Surely, it may shorten your life a bit, but so does smoking and drinking alcohol.
Recently I've stopped marijuana, because my girlfriend doesn't want me to :rolleyes:, but if we ever break up (don't hope that will happen) I'll start again, that I'm sure of.
Weed is legal here in the Netherlands, if you are over 18. And why shouldn't it? If weed is illegal, so should alcohol be.

I just thought I would share this with you all. A lot of people dont know when or why Marijuana was made illegal. The truth is, it was done very very unfairly. In the early 1930, after using Marijuana for its many many uses. The United States and a collective of other countries found that people of "colour" tended to use it the most. They felt that is was the cause of such evil "coloured" music like Jazz ( evil? I dont think so). The governments felt that if white people started smoking or using Marijuana, they would start picking up traits of Coloured people and therefore Poison there minds. You cant get much more racist that that now can you?
